Recently, the semifinals of the Applied Innovation Track of the First Biomanufacturing Competition, hosted by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, concluded in Shanghai. Of the 152 advancing projects nationwide and under rigorous review by 21 experts, only 27 enterprise-group projects broke through. Yugen Pharmaceutical (a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hotgen Biotech) advanced strongly with its project "AKK Bacterial Dual-Qualification Monopoly and World-First Live Biotherapeutic Development," becoming the only probiotic enterprise to enter the national finals.

As the first product in the AKK product category to initiate an RCT evidence-based study, AKK2645 has already taken the lead in validating its value in the market: AKK2645 products have gained market recognition with an extremely high repurchase rate, completing the commercial closed loop of a "biotechnology consumer product."

Unlike the traditional food sector, Yugen redefines consumer products with biotechnology. Entering the high-threshold direction of "life and health" is precisely the courage that drives its run to the finals. AKK2645 will represent Chinese strains to build the biomanufacturing barrier for next-generation probiotics—anchored in "Chinese strains, Chinese standards, and Chinese intelligent manufacturing"—to seize the high ground in the global microecological health industry.
