On September 15-16, 2026, the 13th International Biopharmaceutical Technology Annual Conference, BioCon China Expo 2026, themed "Connect · Restructure · Enlighten · Co-Build," was grandly held in Shanghai. Beijing Youngen Biotechnology Co., Ltd., a shareholding enterprise of Hotgen Biotech, was invited to attend. Dr. Gao Qi, Vice President of Hotgen Biotech and co-founder of Youngen Biotech, delivered a keynote report at the Nucleic Acid Drug Forum and participated in a roundtable discussion.

In her keynote report titled "Next-Generation Small Nucleic Acid Therapies Ignite Hope for Precision Treatment of Cardiomyopathy," Dr. Gao Qi provided an in-depth analysis of the evolution of small nucleic acid technology and its application prospects in cardiomyopathy treatment. She noted that small nucleic acid therapies are moving from liver targeting to systemic applications and from rare diseases toward the large chronic disease market, with delivery technology being the key bottleneck determining whether they can benefit a broader population of patients.

Currently, cardiomyopathy still lacks effective treatment options, and myocardial delivery technology continues to face the "two lows" dilemma of tissue specificity and biological activity, with precision intervention at the genetic level for cardiomyopathy remaining absent for a long time. Youngen Biotech's Kardia Shuttle® myocardial-specific delivery technology, developed based on its proprietary AOC platform, has demonstrated strong targeting and efficacy in preclinical studies. Dr. Gao Qi believes that Youngen Biotech, as a leader in myocardial delivery technology platforms, will accelerate the application of nucleic acid therapies in the treatment of cardiac diseases and meet the demand of a vast number of patients for safer and more effective novel therapies.

During the roundtable discussion, Dr. Gao Qi exchanged views with several industry guests on topics including technological innovation, delivery breakthroughs, and clinical translation of nucleic acid drugs. She stated that Youngen Biotech's Kardia Shuttle® small nucleic acid drug cardiac-targeted delivery platform is a globally groundbreaking innovative technology. It opens up precise, long-acting, and novel therapeutic solutions for major cardiovascular diseases such as heart failure and inherited cardiomyopathy, establishing a core technological barrier that is difficult to replicate in the company's small nucleic acid innovation field.
