From May 15 to 17, 2026, the Council Meeting of the Laboratory Medicine Branch of the Bethune Spirit Research Association and the 8th Bethune Laboratory Medicine Conference were grandly held at the Steigenberger Hotel in Hefei, Anhui Province. With the core theme of "Inheriting the Red Gene, Carrying Forward the Bethune Spirit, and Becoming Laboratory Professionals of the New Era," the conference gathered more than a thousand experts and scholars in laboratory medicine, clinical backbone professionals, research institutions, and industry representatives from across the country. High-level academic exchanges were conducted around frontier directions including precision testing, smart laboratories, infection prevention and control, chronic disease management, early cancer screening, primary-level capacity building, ISO 15189 quality management, and AI-empowered laboratory testing — jointly advancing high-quality disciplinary development and safeguarding public health.

Hotgen Biotech was invited to participate in the full conference, deeply integrating into the event through academic exchanges, sub-forum participation, and product showcase. Together with industry peers, the company explored technology frontiers and discussed clinical value, practicing the Bethune spirit through innovative diagnostics and contributing to the advancement of laboratory medicine.
